India’s Under-19 player Pawan Shah took the cricket fraternity by storm when he smashed 282 runs off 332 balls. He made headlines on Wednesday during a Youth Test against Sri Lanka as he became India’s sixth double centurion on the Under-19 level.

Here is a list of India’s all double centurions in Under-19 cricket:

Vinayak Mane was India’s first double centurion on the Under-19 level in Youth Tests. He scored 201 in Chennai against an English attack which included the likes of Chris Tremlett and Monty Panesar. PC: Twitter

In the same match as Mane, Gautam Gambhir also scored a double century and hence became India’s second batsman to touch the 200-mark in Youth Tests. PC: PTI

In 2005, a 17-year-old Pujara took England by storm by recording India’s third double century in Youth Tests. His knock was inclusive of 26 fours and India Under-19 won the match by an innings and 137 runs at Jamshedpur. PC: PTI

India Under-19 toured Pakistan in 2006 for two Youth Tests and four Youth ODIs. In the second Youth Test at Peshawar, Tanmay Srivastava scored 220 runs before India won both the matches under the leadership of Piyush Chawla. PC: Twitter

India Under-19 toured Sri Lanka in 2007 where they played both Youth ODIs and Tests. In the second Youth at Kandy, Abhinav Mukund smashed a 243-ball 205 and the knock included 25 fours and a six. Although the match ended in a draw, Tanmay Srivastava-led Indian side sealed the series 1-0 since they had won the first Youth Test by 182 runs in Colombo. PC: AFP
