Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya's father Himanshu Pandya died off a cardiac arrest at age of 71 and the family has left for Mumbai on a private jet.
The year 2021 started off on a very sad note for the Pandya family as Hardik and Krunal Pandya's father, Himanshu Pandya, died on Saturday at the age of 71 due to a reported cardiac arrest. Hardik Pandya left for Mumbai on a private jet along with his mother while Krunal Pandya has left the bio-bubble for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy to be with his family. Himanshu Pandya has always encouraged Hardik and Krunal Pandya to pursue an active career in cricket and despite opposition from many relatives, Hardik and Krunal Pandya forged their identity in a great way in Indian cricket. Hardik Pandya is one of the most aggressive all-rounders in Indian cricket while Krunal Pandya has forged a name for himself with some magnificent performances for Mumbai Indians.
Himanshu Pandya is credited for making sure his sons had a great platform on which they could pursue their dreams. Following his death, the BCCI and plenty of other celebrities tweeted their condolences for the Pandya family. Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team skipper, tweeted about how he had a good time with Himanshu Pandya and that he was a very positive person. Former India player Irfan Pathan also recollected his memories with Himanshu Pandya.
