WWE star Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman has 'warned but served notice' to Ranveer Singh over the actor's use of Heyman's catchphrase in a recent tweet. Heyman had earlier posted on social media that he would sue Ranveer for using his ‘Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat’ war cry. Later, Heyman claimed that he had sent notice to the Bollywood actor.

"I didn't warn. I served notice," tweeted Heyman reacting to a story about his threat to Ranveer. However, it is not clear whether Heyman, who likes to call himself the advocate of WWE star Brock Lesnar, has really served a legal notice to Ranveer Singh or it's just a turn of phrase used by the 'biggest mouth' in Wrestling Entertainment.

Whatever may well be the case, there is no doubt that Heyman is enjoying the coverage of the news in Indian media. He has retweeted stories of many India media organisations (including DNA) related to his earlier to tweet to Ranveer Singh. It is not clear what is the deeper angle behind Heyman's tweet but it seems all an attempt to ride the publicity surrounding the Cricket World Cup, India vs Pakistan match and Ranveer Singh.

Paul Heyman had threatened to sue Ranveer Singh for using his 'copyright' catchphrase while praising Indian cricket star Hardik Pandya. Ranveer was present at Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester for India vs Pakistan match and was seen having a lot of fun as India beat arch-rivals Pakistan with ease.

However, one of his tweets praising Hardik Pandya may have landed him some trouble with Paul Heyman- the advocate of WWE superstar Brock Lesnar. Heyman has threatened Ranveer with a copyright lawsuit for using a version of his popular catchphrase.

Ranveer had used the words 'Eat. Sleep. Dominate. Repeat ' to praise Pandya. However, Heyman pointed out that it was his popular catchphrase – ‘Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat’ and he owned the copyright to the famous war cry. He warned Ranveer that he was 'litigious' and the copyright to these words belonged to him and Lesnar.

This is not first time Paul Heyman had taken an issue with the use of his war cry to praise cricketers. Heyman had earlier cautioned the official Twitter account of the Cricket World Cup for praising MS Dhoni back in January 2019 saying, “Eat. Sleep. Finish games. Repeat. Life.”

At that time, the Cricket World Cup official Twitter account had joined in the banter and offered Heyman and Lesnar tickets to the 2019 World Cup in England. It posted, "How about tickets to the @cricketworldcup for you and @BrockLesnar?"
