While all depend on families and partners for support in times of crisis, close friends are the ones with whom one can be their true self.

Be it spending time with them or discussing the highs and lows, true friends are always there in time of need. While today (August 2) on Friendship Day, which is observed on the first Sunday of August each year, should have seen celebrations between friends and their close bond, all are stuck inside their homes due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

While it is needed to stay safe by being indoors and maintaining social distancing, it does not mean that one should stay emotionally distant.

Taking friendship to another level, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises have shared the bond the teammates have with each other and with also their on-field rivals.
