Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag married his cousin, Aarti Ahlawat, in 2004. Aarti’s aunt was married to Sehwag’s cousin. However, as per several reports, the couple is now reportedly heading for a divorce after 20 years of marriage.

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi tied the knot with Nadia, the daughter of his maternal uncle, in 2000.

Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman married his maternal cousin, Samia Parvin, in 2019. Notably, Samia is a Psychology student at Dhaka University.
