World Cup 2019: India lost to New Zealand by 18 runs in World Cup semifinals, but Ravindra Jadeja produced an all-round performance for his team.
From taking a wicket to producing some good catches to even scoring 77 with the bat - this man almost single-handedly carried India to the finals.
Partnering with MS Dhoni in a century-plus stand, he took India close to the target. However, India were bowled out for 221 in the final over and New Zealand made it to the Sunday's final at Lord's.
While Jadeja showed that he is one of the best all-rounders, the Sanjay Manjrekar-Ravindra Jadeja spat has been one of the biggest subplots of the World Cup 2019.
After the match, Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted his praise for Jadeja's performance. However, he couldn't resist adding a sarcastic twist posting a wink emoji with the text 'Well played Jadeja'.
While the tweet did not go down will by netizens, Manjrekar had more to say at the end of the game.

Manjrekar had called Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ player. Speaking at the end of the game, Manjrekar finally praised Jadeja.

2. Sanjay Manjrekar blocks Michael Vaughan

After calling Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ player, Michael Vaughan got involved in a Twitter spat with the commentator. The verbal spat went to an extent where Manjrekar went on to block Vaughan.

After being blocked, Vaughan used Instagram and asked Manjrekar to unblock him.
3. Ravindra Jadeja vs Sanjay Manjrekar

During the match, Ravindra Jadeja hit a very good half-century and he celebrated it with his usual 'sword' celebration. He, however, even made a gesture towards the commentary box, where Sanjay Manjrekar had been sitting.
