Alastair Cook became only the fifth player to score centuries in both his debut and last Test matches.
England batsman Alastair Cook marked his 291st and final test innings in fitting fashion as he reached a century against India on the fourth morning of the fifth test on Monday.

He is now the most successful left-handed batsman in the history of Test cricket. Cook went past Kumar Sangakkara’s tally of 12,400 runs to become the fifth highest run scorer in Tests.
