The Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis is doubtful for the 2nd One-Day International (ODI) against India, starting on Sunday.

The 31-year old big burly cricketer stopped in between his delivery stride while bowling his 7th over in the first game. He didn't take any further part in the game.

Stoinis, after not having troubled the scorers much while batting, was in the middle of bowling a steady spell as he had given away just 25 runs in the 6.2 overs he bowled.

However, Stoinis' absence might open the door for one of the two new selections in Australia's white-ball squads. The West-Australian all-rounder Cameron Green, who got a maiden call-up into Australian team, might get a look-in after scoring mountains of runs in the Sheffield Shield and other domestic comepetitions.

On the other hand, there are equal chances of New South Wales all-rounder Moises Henriques getting a chance after being recalled into Australian team after a gap of three years.

Australia won the first game by 66 runs and will look to seal the series in Sydney on Sunday, while India will look to fight back and stay afloat in the three-match series.
