South African batsmen came to the party in the the final of the three-match T20I series against England as they sent England bowlers on a journey, especially in the last five overs of the innings.

Choosing to bat first at Newlands, where the first match was played, South Africa didn't get off to a great start as after hitting a couple of good shots, skipper Quinton de Kock got out for just 17.

Since, it was a used pitch, it looked like another low-scorer. after the powerplay, South Africa lost two more wickets quickly.

Ben Stokes, with his change of pace, did the trick as both Temba Bavuma and Reeza Hendricks failed to get on with it.

South Africa were 64-3 in the 10th over and were staring down the bareel again. Faf du Plessis on the other end, was struggling to time the ball.

In came, Rassie Van der Dussen, who from the outset was looking to be aggressive, looking to take attack to the England bowlers and was successful big time.

Both the batsmen played out the leg-spinner Adil Rashid, who used the pitch to his advantage and gave away just 20 runs in his quota of four overs.

After that, they didn't leave any England bowler. Van der Dussen was particularly severe.

After Du Plessis' twin strikes in the 16th over of Tom Curran, Van der Dussen took Jofra Archer in his range.

Archer kept missing his yorkers and lengths he wanted to bowl, Van der Dussen kept clubbing the ball with all his power and accumulated 22 runs off that over and reached a fantastic 23-ball half-century.

Faf du Plessis, meanwhile, sent Sam Curran for three consecutive boundaries in the penultimate over and accomplished his fifty off 37 balls.

If that wasn't enough, Jordan was still left. Jordan ran into the marauder Van der Dussen as he smashed 2 sixes and a four as 20 runs came of that over as well.

Van der Dussen finished with 74 off just 32 balls as SA piled on 191 in their 20 overs after indifferent first 10 overs.

England have already won the series by winning the first two games of the series.
