India have earned their second victory of the tournament against Pakistan. This is their biggest win against their arch-rivals in ODI cricket -- by 9 wickets and with 63 balls to spare.

Skipper Rohit Sharma remains not-out with 111 off 119 to ensure his team remains the only undefeated team in the tournament.

11:52 PM

INDIA WIN BY 9 WICKETS

Pakistan made 237/7 from 50 overs batting first. In reply, India make 238/1 in 39.3 overs.

11:50 PM

Hasan Ali manages to frustrate Indian fans.

Two runs still needed for the win.

IND - 236/1 after 39 overs.

11:47 PM

Three runs came from that Shoaib Malik over. India need six more to win.

IND - 232/1 after 38 overs.

11:43 PM

SIX!

This was totally expected. Rohit finally decides to cut loose. Hasan Ali pitches it short and the Indian captain pulls it deep into the stands.

Just a little more to go before Pakistan's agony is put to rest.

IND - 229/1 after 37 overs.

11:38 PM

Shoaib Malik has slipped in three overs now for just nine runs.

India need 17 more runs to win.

IND - 221/1 after 36 overs.

11:36 PM

Century for Rohit Sharma! He's gotten there in 106 deliveries.

This has been a captain's knock from the 31-year-old. He's had to curb his natural instincts and play patiently today to get to his 19th ODI ton.

11:35 PM

Rohit's getting to his century in singles. One gets the feeling that India will win within an over once he gets there. They need 20 more now.

11:35 PM

It wasn't to be in this over. Rohit is on 98 now.

Rayudu gets a four off the last ball with a deft late-cut.

IND - 218/1 after 35 overs.

11:31 PM

Ambati Rayudu has walked out to the crease. It's his birthday today and the crowd is generous enough to wish him in unison.

Meanwhile, Rohit has moved on to 96. Will he get to his ton in the next over.

IND - 211/1 after 34 overs.

11:26 PM

OUT!

A wicket out of thin air for Pakistan!

Rohit plays it towards point and stays still. Dhawan keeps staring at the ball and running. He almost reaches the other end before realising Rohit hasn't gone anywhere. He turns and tries to scamper back but falls inches short to get run-out.

Dhawan walks back after a superb 100-ball 114. The crowd is on its feet. Take a bow!

11:23 PM

Rohit Sharma takes a single to move on to 94, and with that he has 7000 ODI runs. That is no small achievement by any stretch. Take a bow!

Hundred up for Shkihar Dhawan! He has gotten to his milestone in 95 balls. This is his second century of the tournament and 15th overall in ODI cricket. Top, top effort from the left-hander. He was under fire after the England tour but has answered his critics with patience. He got to his ton today with a glorious cover-drive.

SIX!

Dhawan has decided to cut loose here! He stands upright and lofts Afridi for a huge six over mid-wicket.

Another boundary!

This time Dhawan slaps it straight back for a four. That was a brutal shot!

IND - 208/0 after 33 overs.

11:19 PM

Shoaib Malik comes into the attack. Last throw of the dice from Pakistan? Well, only a miracle can save them now.

Decent over, though. Just three runs came from it.

Dhawan is on 99 now.

IND - 193/0 after 32 overs.

11:15 PM

The Pakistani bowlers have refused to learn today. From there own mistakes as well as from each others'.

Afridi bowls a short ball to Rohit and gets pulled for four.

Another boundary!

This time Afridi bangs it in to Dhawan and gets cut over point for four.

Rohit moves on to 91, with Dhawan on 98.

IND - 190/0 after 31 overs.

11:08 PM

Strange cricket from Pakistan. Sarfraz keeps all the fielders on the off side inside the circle.

Shadab comes from over the wicket and bowls a short and wide ball to Dhawan.

The left-hander helps himself to a boundary.

IND - 178/0 after 30 overs.

11:03 PM

Shot! Nawaz bowls a short ball and Dhawan cuts it ferociously for four.

The only real contest left in this match now is the race between the two batsmen to get to a hundred.

Meanwhile, this is now the highest opening partnership by an Indian pair against Pakistan.

The previous record was held by Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly who added 159 runs for the first wicket in an ODI against Pakistan in 1998.

IND - 171/0 after 29 overs.

11:02 PM

SIX!

Rohit pulls Shadab again for a massive six! You simply can't bowl that length to him!

Another dropped catch!

Rohit pulls it again but the ball goes straight to the mid-wicket fielder who drops a straight-forward chance.

This is Rohit's second reprieve.

IND - 164/0 after 28 overs.

10:59 PM

Mohammad Nawaz return to the attack, Rohit greets the left-arm spinner with a boundary. The ball was on his pads and he swept it away swiftly.

The Indian captain is batting on 75 off 83, Dhawan is unbeaten on 82 off 79. Who will get to a hundred first? Rohit has caught up with his partner suddenly!

IND - 157/0 after 27 overs.

10:56 PM

SIX!

Rohit had waited long to hit that shot. Fans waited long to see him hit that shot.

Shadab drops it short and the Indian captain rocks back and pulls it deep into the stands. Classic Rohit.

Another boundary!

This time Rohit plays a beautiful cover-drive to the fence.

How much will Pakistan be rueing that dropped catch by Imam-ul-Haq early on?

IND - 152/0 after 26 overs.

10:52 PM

Hasan Ali's over ends in a similar way to Amir's last over.

The ball was short and Dhawan pulled it hard. Only this time, the ball went for a one-bounce four.

IND - 138/0 after 25 overs.

10:46 PM

SIX!

Amir pitches it short yet again, Dhawan swivels and pulls it for a flat six.

This is turning out to be an exhibition from the Indian openers.

The Pakistani shoulders have dropped completely.

IND - 131/0 after 24 overs.

10:42 PM

Tidy over from Hasan Ali, just a single came from it.

The right-arm quick manages to beat Dhawan's bat on one occasion. A small victory for Pakistan in these desperate times.

IND - 120/0 after 23 overs.

10:38 PM

Amir bangs it in, Dhawan stands tall and pulls it for four. There was a sweeper in place but he had no chance. Boss shot!

Fifty up for Rohit Sharma. He's been given the captaincy for this tournament and it seems to have brought the best out of him.

IND - 119/0 after 22 overs.

10:30 PM

The 100-run stand between Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan comes up.

They are arguably the best opening combo in white ball cricket.

Shot!

Dhawan steps out and bludgeons Shadab Khan straight back for a four.

If these two stay at the wicket for a few more overs, this might turn out to be truly embarrassing for Pakistan.

IND - 107/0 after 20 overs.

10:19 PM

Rohit is playing Shadab with great caution here.

The leggie had castled the Indian captain the last time around.

Rohit, in general, tends to struggle against leg-spinner.

Dhawan, however, has no such problems. He sweeps one to the fence to bring up his fifty!

Splendid knock so far from the southpaw. He looks set for a big one.

Time for a drinks break.

IND - 91/0 after 18 overs.

10:14 PM

Nawaz errs in line and Rohit plays a delectable sweep for four.

Another boundary!

This time Nawaz bowls it short and wide, Rohit cuts it with ease for four.

Pakistan need a wicket immediately, else India will win at a canter.

IND - 85/0 after 17 overs.

10:08 PM

Pakistan are having no luck. Nawaz bowls a beauty and gets Rohit's outside edge, but there's no slip in place and the ball runs past short-third to give India two runs.

The Indian openers are playing smart cricket, though. There's absolutely no rush in their game at the moment.

IND - 72/0 after 15 overs.

09:58 PM

Spin from both ends now as Shadab Khan joins the attack for Pakistan.

The leg-spinner gives away five runs in his first over.

The Indian openers are content with dealing in singles at the moment.

IND - 62/0 after 12 overs.

09:51 PM

Amir switches ends and returns to have a bowl.

Absolutely brilliant from Shikhar Dhawan!

Amir pitches two balls right up in that over, Dhawan drives both of them straight back for boundaries.

The left-handed opener has hit a purple patch. His balance is perfect and timing impeccable.

IND - 53/0 after 10 overs.

09:45 PM

Spin introduced by Sarfraz Ahmed as Mohammad Nawaz comes on to have a bowl.

The left-arm spinner concedes two runs in his first over. No glimpse of turn in the wicket yet.

IND - 45/0 after 9 overs.

09:42 PM

Shot! Afridi pitches it full and wide, Rohit stands still and drives it over covers for four.

Can't help but feel for the young Pakistani pacer. He had the Indian captain in his previous over, if only the fielders start cooperating with him.

IND - 43/0 after 8 overs.

09:37 PM

Dhawan gets two boundaries against Hasan.

First, he plays a delicately late square-cut for four.

Then, Hasan induces an outside edge but there's no slip fielder and the ball runs away to the fence.

Indian batsmen living dangerously all of a sudden.

IND - 38/0 after 7 overs.

09:34 PM

What. A. Shot.

Wow!

Rohit Sharma hits the shot of the match.

Afridi drops it short, you don't do that against Rohit.

The Indian captain hits a jaw-dropping short-arm pull/pick-up shot for six. Simply too good!

Rohit survives!

What have Pakistan done?! Afridi bowls a fine length ball, Rohit checks his shot and it loops up gently towards catching-covers.

Imam-ul-Haq makes an absolute meal of it. He goes hard at the ball and ends up missing it. That was a sitter!

Afridi had seen three catches being dropped off his bowling in the previous game. He's not having any luck today, either.

Will Pakistan pay a heavy price for this blunder?

IND - 29/0 after 6 overs.

09:29 PM

Quick change in bowling from Pakistan - Hasan Ali replaces Amir. Things are clearly not going according to plan for Sarfraz Ahmed.

Rohit gets in on the act! Hasan bowls short, Rohit hits a superb short-arm pull for four.

Five runs came from that over.

IND - 23/0 after 5 overs.

09:25 PM

Sumptuous, an absolutely sumptuous shot from Dhawan.

Afridi gets too straight from over the wicket, and Dhawan flicks the left-arm quick past mid-wicket for four. That shot was all timing!

Solid first four overs for India.

IND - 18/0 after 4 overs.

09:21 PM

Amir drifts on to Dhawan's pads, the left-hander flicks it stylishly between mid-wicket and square-leg for two.

There isn't much swing or lateral movement on offer at the moment. It's going to be hard work for the Pakistani pacers.

Shot!

Dhawan gets India their first boundary.

Slightly short and wide from Amir and Dhawan stands tall to punch it through covers.

Seven runs came from that over.

IND - 14/0 after 3 overs.

09:17 PM

Shaheen Afridi takes the new ball for Pakistan at the other end.

The lanky left-arm quick is generating good bounce, manages to beat Rohit's bat.

The 18-year-old is rated highly in Pakistan. Let's see what he can produce against two of the best white-ball batsmen in world cricket.

Just a single came in that over.

IND - 7/0 after 2 overs.

09:12 PM

Rohit gets off the mark on the second ball.

Amir bowls it slightly wide and Rohit cuts him past point for two.

The Indian captain is standing well outside his crease to negate that deadly in-swinger from Amir.

Dhawan if off the mark from his first delivery. Clips it nicely off the hips for three runs.

Six runs came from the first over.

IND - 6/0 after 1 over.

09:07 PM

Right, we're ready for India's innings.

Rohit Sharma will face the first ball, he has Shikhar Dhawan for company at the other end.

Mohammad Amir will bowl the first over for Pakistan.

This promises to be an exciting contest! India need 238 to win in 50 overs.

Here we go!

09:04 PM
08:24 PM

PAKISTAN FINISH AT 237/7 AFTER 50 OVERS.

Bumrah ends with figures of 2 for 29 from his quota of 10 overs. Top stuff from the right-arm quick.

Shoaib Malik's 78 and Sarfraz Ahmed's 44 were the stand-out contributions for Pakistan.

Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, with three wickets each, were the key contributors for India.

Pakistan would've hoped for a lot more at the halfway stage of their innings, but they still have a fighting total in their hands.

Can Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, the two in-form batsmen for India, provide their team another solid start?

Join us after a short break for the chase!

08:20 PM

OUT!

Shadab Khan goes for a wild slog, Bumrah rattles his stumps. Poor execution of an obvious shot.

08:17 PM

Bhuvi replaces Chahal. He'd conceded 22 in his previous over but goes for just 7 this time around.

Only six more balls to come for Pakistan. How much can they get?

PAK - 232/6 after 49 overs.

08:12 PM

Bumrah gives away just four runs from his over again.

Yorker after yorker and the Pak batsmen have no answers.

This guy is priceless for India.

PAK - 225/6 after 48 overs.

08:08 PM

Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz are struggling to get the ball away, but the latter manages to strike a boundary off the final ball of the Chahal over.

Pakistan must surely aim to get past 250 here.

PAK - 221/6 after 47 overs.

08:05 PM

What. An. Over.

Bumrah at his very best!

The right-arm quick bowls four dot balls to concede just two runs in that over.

He's surely going to be a major asset in India's World Cup campaign next year.

PAK - 213/6 after 46 overs.

07:59 PM

Rohit brings Chahal back into the attack. A brave move.

Asif Ali survives! The right-hander attempts a reverse-sweep, the top-edge falls just behind a diving Kuldeep Yadav at point.

OUT!

Asif Ali's short but entertaining innings comes to a close. He goes for a slog-sweep for six but is beaten all ends up and gets bowled. He has to walk back for 30 from 21.

Superb over from Chahal, he gets his second wicket and concedes just six runs.

PAK - 211/6 after 45 overs.

07:51 PM

OUT!

Shoaib Malik departs to an innocuous delivery!

Bumrah bowls one on the pads, Malik tries to glance it towards fine-leg but only manages a faint edge. Dhoni does brilliantly to cross over and take a low diving catch.

Malik walks back for a 90-ball 78. Splendid innings, this. Could prove to be a match-winning one.

Meanwhile, Bumrah replaces Bhuvi and bowls a top over. A wicket and six runs came from it.

PAK - 205/5 after 44 overs.

07:48 PM

Kuldeep gives away just six runs from his over. He's been good today, given away 41 runs from his 10 overs and taken 2 wickets.

PAK - 199/4 after 43 overs.

07:44 PM

Bhuvi pitches it slightly short, Malik pulls it over mid-wicket for four.

The right-hander is into the 70s now.

SIX!

Stunning shot from Asif Ali! Bhuvi falters in length again, Ali slaps it straight back for a maximum. What a shot that was!

Another boundary!

This time Bhuvi goes full and wide, Ali cuts it for four. Poor bowling from the experienced pacer, it was too slow and too wide.

SIX!

Bhuvi bowls a length ball this time and Ali dispatches it over the long-on fence. Stand and deliver! Ali is known for his big-hitting prowess and he's giving a great account of himself here.

Massive over for Pakistan, 22 runs came from it. India are in trouble!

PAK 193/4 after 42 overs.

07:35 PM

Malik survives!

He dabbed it towards point and set off but Asif Ali sent him right back.

Jadeja came flying in and released the throw, it missed by a whisker and Malik survived to fight another day.

Meanwhile, Rohit goes back to pace with Bhuvi.

Four runs came from that over.

PAK - 169/4 after 40 overs.

07:31 PM

OUT!

Sarfraz Ahmed is out for 44 off 66.

The Pak skipper did so well to get to this point, but just when he was looking to cut loose he has to depart.

Kuldeep tossed it up and Sarfraz tried to hit it over covers for four, but the ball went straight to Rohit.

Big wicket for India, this.

PAK - 165/4 after 39 overs.

07:25 PM

What. A. Shot.

Malik at his very best, plays the shot of the match so far.

Jadeja tosses it slightly up, Malik dances down the track and lofts it straight back for a huge six.

Pakistan are looking for a kick-on now. Meanwhile, the 100-run stand between Malik and Sarfraz come up.

11 runs came from that over.

PAK - 160/3 after 38 overs.

07:21 PM

Kuldeep returns to have a bowl. The Pakistani batsmen have played him with caution today.

Just the three runs from that over.

PAK - 149/3 after 37 overs.

07:19 PM

Jadeja bowls the first over after the drinks break. The left-arm spinner was the Man of the Match in the previous game, but he hasn't looked half as effective so far today.

Five runs came from that over.

PAK 146/3 after 36 overs.

07:11 PM

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is keeping things wicket-to-wicket, trying to induce an error, but the batters are not giving in.

Fifty up for Shoaib Malik! The right-hander gets to his milestone in 64 balls. Malik is the man in form for Pakistan, and he needs to keep going for his team to have a match-winning total.

Time for a drinks break.

PAK - 141/3 after 35 overs.

07:06 PM

This has been a fine comeback from Pakistan.

Their most experienced batsmen are at the crease and they're making the Indian bowlers pay.

If Pak can get past 250, we'll surely have a tight chase to look forward to.

PAK - 138/3 after 34 overs.

06:57 PM

Malik and Sarfraz cream Kedar for a boundary each.

The offie is struggling to find the right length and the Pakistani batsmen seem to have the measure of him today. Malik and Sarfraz have added 70 runs for the fourth wicket.

Expensive over for India, 12 runs came from it.

PAK - 128/3 after 31 overs.

06:46 PM

Meanwhile, read HERE how Twitter reacted to Dhoni Review System!

06:46 PM

SIX!

Stunning shot from Malik! Chahal gives it generous flight, Malik gets on one knee and slog-sweeps it for a huge six.

This partnership between Malik and Sarfraz is starting to look dangerous for India.

PAK - 108/3 after 28 overs.

06:41 PM

Kedhar Jadhav comes into the attack. His services with the ball weren't required in the previous game, but he did remarkably well the last time India played Pakistan. Can he work the same magic today?

Three runs come from the unorthodox off-spinner's first over.

PAK - 99/3 after 27 overs.

06:33 PM

Jadeja bowls it short and wide again, Malik cuts it for four again.

The left-arm spinner has conceded a boundary each in his last three overs now.

PAK - 90/3 after 24 overs.

06:28 PM

Sarfraz steps out slightly and flicks Jadeja through mid-wicket for a boundary.

Pakistan getting a move-on with these two batsmen at the crease.

Seven runs came from that over.

PAK - 82/3 after 23 overs.

06:23 PM

Jadeja bowls it quick, short and wide. Malik leans back and cuts it for four.

The right-hander was the star for Pakistan in their previous game, they need him to bat long today as well.

PAK - 71/3 after 20 overs.

06:11 PM

Bumrah comes back into the attack.

Pakistan now have skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and the experienced Shoaib Malik at the crease. They're in desperate need of a partnership now.

Just a single came from that over.

PAK - 60/3 after 17 overs.

06:03 PM

OUT!

Pakistan are doing hara-kiri here!

Babar Azam attempts a single when there was none, he gets run-out after some sharp work from Chahal.

The right-hander has to depart for 9 off 25.

PAK - 58/3 after 15.5 overs.

05:56 PM

Zaman gets four runs with a risky shot!

The left-hander attempts the same shot that got him a six in Kuldeep's last over, but mistimes it this time. The ball still ends up in the gap and he gets four.

OUT!

What has happened here!

Zaman perishes with a rather comical dismissal. He goes for a sweep but slips completely, the ball hits his front pad on the full and the umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger.

Replays suggest that the ball might've hit Zaman's glove, he spoke with Babar but decided against taking DRS. Strange decision.

Kuldeep has won the battle here and he has his second wicket. The dangerous Fakhar Zaman walks back for 31 off 44.

PAK - 56/2 after 15 overs.

05:55 PM

Chahal's doing well to not leak boundaries but the Pakistani batsmen are managing to steal singles consistently.

Good battle going on here.

PAK - 50/1 after 14 overs.

05:52 PM

SIX!

Pakistan get their first maximum of the match and it comes from Zaman's bat.

Kuldeep tosses it well up and Zaman slog-sweeps it for a big one.

India wouldn't mind such a shot. There will be wickets around the corner if the batsmen continue to bat with such an approach.

PAK - 44/1 after 13 overs.

05:50 PM

Another quiet over from Chahal, just four singles came from it.

Pakistan are content in dealing with singles at the moment.

Perhaps, they've learnt from the mistakes they made when they played India the last time.

PAK - 35/1 after 12 overs.

05:46 PM

Kuldeep Yadav comes on to have a bowl.

Gives away three singles in his first over.

There's slight turn in the wicket as of now.

PAK - 31/1 after 11 overs.

05:42 PM

That's the end of the first Power Play.

Pakistan are 28 for 1 after the first 10 overs. They have Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam at the crease.

India have done well not concede too many with the new ball.

05:34 PM

OUT!

Chahal gives India the breakthrough!

Imam-ul-Haq has to walk back for 10 off 20.

Chahal trapped the left-hander in front, the umpire said not out but Dhoni convinced Rohit to take DRS.

Turns out, MSD was right. The review showed all three reds and India has their first wicket.

05:29 PM

Both sides will be happy with this start so far.

Imam-ul-Haq is looking in good touch while Zaman needs time in the middle. However, India have not allowed the Pakistan openers to score freely. Bhuvi (3-0-7-0) and Bumrah (3-1-9-0) have kept things tight so far and they would be hoping to use this pressure to get a wicket.

Pakistan on the other hand would want these two find their feet.
