    Here we go!

  • OUT!

Mustafizur Rahman removes Bhuvneshwar Kumar off the first ball of the over.

Bhuvi tries to guide an away-moving delivery towards point but gets a thick outside edge. Mushfiqur makes no mistake behind the stump.

Bhuvi walks back for 21 off 31.

Kuldeep Yadav is the new man at the crease.

India need 9 from 11 with 3 wickets in hand.

  • Kedar had gotten injured in the first match of the 2018 IPL between CSK and MI. He returned to bat in the final over and smashed a six to take CSK home. Can he do something similar tonight?

  • OUT!

    Rubel Hossain removes Ravindra Jadeja.

Jaddu steps out and tries to drive through covers on the rise, but the ball takes a faint edge. The umpire says not out but keeper Mushfiqur Rahim asks for DRS immediately. He was right.

Jadeja walks back for 23 off 33, his 45-run partnership with Bhuvi comes to an end.

Kedar Jadhav has walked out to bat as the crowd applauds.

    India need 11 from 16.

  • Boundary!

Heartbreak for Rahman. He gives away just a single off the first five balls, but the last one is on Bhuvi's pads and is clipped away to the fine-leg fence.

    India need 13 from 18.

    IND - 210/5 after 47 overs.

  • SIX!

    Bhuvi, you absolute beauty!

Rubel pitches it right up, Bhuvi stays in the crease and lofts it straight back for a maximum. What a shot! That has to be the best shot Bhuvi has played in his life! Brilliance under tremendous pressure.

Eight runs came from that over.

    India need 18 from 24.

    IND - 205/5 after 46 overs.

  • Mustafizur Rahman comes back into the attack. Can The Fizz do it for Bangladesh? He removed Dhoni in his last spell.

  • Jadeja and Bhuvi manage to take 6 runs from Mahmudullah's 5th over.

    India need 26 from 30.

    IND - 197/5 after 45 overs.

  • Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza's spell comes to an end. The right-arm medium-pacer took a wicket for 35 runs from his 10 overs.

Four runs came in that over.

India need 32 from 36. The gap between runs needed and balls remaining is reducing with each passing over.

    IND - 191/5 after 44 overs.

  • Rubel Hossain gives just 1 run from his 8th over. The right-arm quick was the one who got smashed by DK in the Nidahas Trophy final. But tonight, Rubel has bowled really well. He has bowled two maidens, taken two wickets and conceded just 15 runs in his 8 overs.

    India need 36 from 42.

    IND - 187/5 after 43 overs.

  • Nazmul Islam comes back to bowl his last over.

    Boundary!

Islam tosses it up, Jadeja leans in and drives it straight back powerfully. The bowler got his hand to it but the ball still raced away.

Jadeja and Bhuvi are running hard between wickets. That is the need of the hour.

Eight runs came from that over.

    India need 37 from 48.

    IND - 186/5 after 42 overs.

  • Three runs in that over from Mashrafe Mortaza.

India need 51 runs to win from 60 balls.

That's a lot of runs. Which batsman can get the bulk of them?

    IND - 172/5 after 40 overs.

  • Two runs come from Mustafizur's 8th over.

India have to try and get the odd boundary now.

    IND - 169/5 after 39 overs.

  • Kedar Jadhav is limping back to the pavilion. Rohit and Co have taken the right decision to bring him back. Bhuvneshwar Kumar joins Jadeja out in the middle. This is looking like a monumental task for India now. They need 56 from 72 with five wickets (including Kedar) in hand.

  • Kedar Jadhav is in serious pain but he's battling on. Ravi Shastri, Rohit Sharma and Sanjay Bangar huddle up in the dressing room to discuss the situation. Rohit finally signals to Kedar to stay calm and keep batting. But the right-hander seems to have lost his bearings and is just swinging his bat without connecting with much.

    Boundary!

Much-needed runs for India. Mortaza drifts on to Jadeja's pads from around the wicket, the ball hits the thigh guard and runs away to the fine-leg fence.

    IND - 167/5 after 38 overs.

  • OUT!

Aaaand he's out. Yes, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is out.

Mustafizur bowls a sharp delivery well outside off, Dhoni throws his bat at it and nicks it. This has been a poor, poor innings from the 37-year-old. This will surely raise questions about his place in India's 2019 World Cup team.

Dhoni walks back to the pavilion for 36 off 67. India in deep trouble. They need 63 runs to win from 83 balls. Ravindra Jadeja joins Kedar Jadhav at the crease.

  • Kedar straps his pad on and takes guard. Good to see.

    Boundary!

Islam bowls a low full-toss, Kedar sweeps it for four. Risky shot as it would've been plumb LBW had he missed it.

And just like that, Dhoni plays out a couple of dot balls. He's batting on 36 off 66.

    IND - 160/4 after 36 overs.

  • Kedar Jadhav is in trouble here. He seems to have pulled his hamstring after taking a single off the last ball of Mustafizur's over. It seemed innocuous at first but clearly isn't. Team India physio Patrick Farhart is out in the middle. Kedar has his pad off and is on the floor getting treatment. He had a hamstring injury earlier in the year that forced him to miss the IPL. Hope it's not too serious. India desperately need him to carry on right now.

  • Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza brings Mustafizur Rahman back into the attack.

The left-arm quick bowls four dot balls to Dhoni first up. This is getting really frustrating now. MSD has to figure out a way to rotate strike. It must surely be building pressure on Kedar at the other end, too.

    IND - 154/4 after 35 overs.

  • Better from Dhoni, manages to rotate strike.

India get five singles in that Nazmul Islam over.

    IND - 152/4 after 34 overs.

  • SIX!

Super shot from Kedar Jadhav! He steps out to Mahmudullah and lofts it straight back for a maximum. Some pressure released.

    IND - 147/4 after 33 overs.

  • Kedar Jadhav has joined MS Dhoni out in the middle.

Dhoni plays out a maiden against Rubel Hossain. Not because of remarkable bowling, but because of dead bat defensive strokes.

India need runs 84 runs to win from 108 balls.

    IND - 139/4 after 32 overs.

  • Mahmudullah getting some sharp turn all of a sudden.

Dhoni got out to an off-spinner in the last match. He's looking much more cautious tonight.

    OUT!

Mahmudullah trap Dinesh Karthik in front!

The ball was fired in and hit DK on his shoe. That was plumb.

Karthik walks back for 37 off 61 and India seem to be in trouble again.

    IND - 137/4 after 30.4 overs.

  • Boundary!

Mahmudullah drifts on to the pads, DK sweeps it deftly past short-fine for four. Surprisingly, that's Karthik's first boundary. And with that, the 50-run stand between these two is up.

    IND 134/3 after 29 overs.

  • It's looking much better for India all of a sudden. The singles are coming freely and the scoreboard is ticking nicely. India need these two to add at least another 50 runs for the result to be put beyond doubt.

    IND - 129/3 after 28 overs.

  • Mehidy Hasan comes back into the attack. He'd bowled the first over for Bangladesh.

What a shot from MS Dhoni! He steps out and absolutely bludgeons the ball straight back. That indeed raced to the fence like a tracer bullet.

    IND - 112/3 after 25 overs.

  • Shot!

This time Dhoni decided he has had enough.

Mustafizur Rahman pitches it at around good length but well outside off. Dhoni stands tall blasts the ball right through Mashrafe Mortaza at short-covers.

Dhoni is now batting on 12 off 28.

    IND - 105/3 after 24 overs.

  • A spree of dot balls after the six from DK.

Nazmul Islam has bowled well tonight. The left-arm spinner has hardly bowled any loose deliveries and kept things wicket-to-wicket.

    IND - 99/3 after 23 overs.

  • SIX!

Dinesh Karthik decides he has had enough.

Islam drops it short and DK pulls it for a maximum.

India could do with some runs at the moment.

    IND - 97/3 after 21 overs.

  • Bangladesh are building some serious pressure here. The runs have dried up completely.

Dhoni tends to take his time when he comes in to bat. He's unfazed while playing out umpteen dot balls.

But Dhoni and DK must look to rotate strike consistently. The required-rate is only increasing and if these two get their eyes in and perish without adding much to the scoreboard, India will be in deep trouble.

    IND - 90/3 after 20 overs.

  • Mahendra Singh Dhoni walks out to bat. The big man owes his team a big knock tonight. It's been a while since he has won a game for India with the bat.

    IND - 85/3 after 18 overs.

  • OUT!

Oh no! Bangladesh have got the big fish. Rohit Sharma walks back for 48 off 55.

The Indian captain pulls one from Rubel Hossain straight to his counterpart Mashrafe Mortaza at deep square-leg.

India are surely in trouble now.

    IND - 83/3 after 16.4 overs.

  • SIX!

Rubel bangs it in, Rohit hooks it for a maximum. There was a moment where it seemed like the ball might drop into fine-leg's hands, but it wasn't to be for Bangladesh.

    Rohit and DK survive!

Rohit drove it straight back and set off, just like DK did from the other end. But both batsmen realised midway that the run isn't on. They went back and forth but managed to come back to their own ends on time. Phew!

    Time for a drinks break.

    IND - 79/2 after 15 overs.

  • The Indians are content in dealing with singles at the moment. That's the right approach. India will remain the Asia Cup champs even if they make 223 in 50 overs.

Meanwhile, Mortaza manages to beat DK's bat with a delivery that cut away from a good length.

    IND - 73/2 after 14 overs.

  • Rubel Hossain comes on to start his spell.

The right-arm quick begins with just a single off his first over.

Rohit is batting on a-run-a-ball 36.

    IND - 58/2 after 11 overs.

  • What. A Shot.

No, the ball hasn't sailed outside the stadium. It was simply a classic punch off the backfoot from Rohit, with the ball racing past covers for four. This guy is a true delight to watch when in full flow.

Five runs came from that over. And that's the end of the first Power Play.

    IND - 57/2 after 10 overs.

  • Another tidy over from Islam, five runs from it. There's hardly any turn in the wicket, though.

    IND - 52/2 after 9 overs.

  • Dinesh Karthik joins Rohit at the crease. A massive opportunity for the seasoned campaigner to solidify his position in the middle-order.

A fine over from Mortaza comes to an end. A wicket and three runs from it.

    IND - 48/2 after 8 overs.

  • OUT!

Skipper Masgrafe Mortaza brings himself into the attack and strikes in his first over.

The right-arm medium-pacer angles the ball in towards Rayudu, but it pitches and straightens. Rayudu goes for an awkward push and the ball takes the outside edge. No problem for keeper Mushfiqur Rahim in pouching that one.

India in a spot of bother here.

    IND - 46/2 after 7.3 overs.

  • A quick over from Islam, just the two singles came from it.

The left-arm spinner is keeping it stump-to-stump.

    IND - 45/1 after 7 overs.

  • Ambati Rayudu has joined skipper Rohit Sharma out in the middle.

The match is moving along at a rollicking pace.

Rohit's been extremely patient while batting in the tournament. The target isn't much and he would want to be there till the end.

A couple of quick wickets here and India will be in trouble. Can't get complacent.

    SIX!

And just like that, Rohit has hit another maximum.

Rahman drops it short and the right-hander pulls it away for a flat six.

    IND - 43/1 after 6 overs.

  • Nazmul Islam replaces Mehidy Hasan.

    SIX!

The left-arm orthodox spinner drops it way short first up, Rohit rocks back and pulls it for a maximum. The Indian captain has played this shot successfully on many, many occasions in the tournament.

    Boundary!

This time Islam bowls down the leg to Dhawan. The left-hander paddle-sweeps it for four.

    OUT!

Bangladesh have struck against the run of play!

Dhawan gets greedy and tries to loft it over mid-off but the ball goes straight to the fielder. A soft dismissal. Dhawan must be kicking himself as he walks back to the pavilion for 15 off 14.

    IND - 35/1 after 4.4 overs.

  • Rohit gets another one on his pads, this time from Rahman. The stylish right-hander flicks it past mid-wicket for two. At ease!

Rahman comes back well again, gets one to jag back in and hit Rohit's pads. But the ball had pitched outside leg and the umpire says not-out.

Let's not forget, Rohit tends to struggle against left-arm seamers who come from over the wicket and bring the ball back in to right-handers. Remember Mohammad Amir?

    Shot!

Dhawan, meanwhile, has found his groove quickly once again. The ball is pitched full and wide, Dhawan leans in and smashes it past covers for four. A superb on-the-rise stroke.

    IND - 24/0 after 4 overs.

  • Poor, poor bowling from Hasan. The offie sends a half-tracker down leg, Rohit accepts the gift gleefully and pulls it between short-fine and square-leg for four.

It's looking all too easy from Hasan's end at the moment.

    IND - 17/0 after 3 overs.
