Australia's bowlers were in top form on day 2 of the Adelaide Pink Ball Test as they took just 23 minutes to get the remaining four wickets. R Ashwin fell on the third ball of the day while Wriddhiman Saha departed cheaply in the second over of the day. Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami also fell in quick succession. Mitchell Starc ended with four wickets while Pat Cummins finished with three wickets as India were bowled out for 244. Australia will be aiming to build a sizeable lead but it will be very tough against an Indian bowling attack that has quality in the form of Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah.

That is the dinner break and Australia are 35/2. Technically, they should have been 31/3 had Bumrah not dropped Marnus Labuschagne. At the break, Australia have Steve Smith and Labuschagne at the crease and if they fall cheaply, then Australia will have a mountain to climb and might fall well behind in the match.
