Earlier, India's bowlers had done an excellent job of restricting Australia to just 188 runs. Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj were the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets each. Despite a promising start from Mitchell Marsh, who scored 81 off 65, Australia failed to capitalize on their early momentum and were eventually bowled out.
India's stand-in captain, Hardik Pandya, had won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Wankhede Stadium. The decision proved to be a wise one, as India's bowlers put in a disciplined performance to keep Australia's batsmen in check.

I got some time off, breaks are like gold dust for me so it gave me a chance to rest and improve. Playing for India every game and every format is important.
