On May 11, at the closing bell, the BSE S&P Sensex was down by 341 points or 0.69 per cent lower at 49,162 while the Nifty 50 slipped by 92 points or 0.61 per cent to 14,851. Except for Nifty auto and realty, all sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the red with Nifty financial service cracking by 1.3 per cent, private bank by 0.9 per cent and metal by 0.8 per cent.
