If you invest in Samvat 2075, the chances of you exiting from your stocks are rare, warns astrologer Dharmesh Joshi. He says that though investors feel the overall market is bullish, they will not be able to sell their stocks.
The head astrologer for equity markets says Jupiter's stay in Sagittarius between September 30, 2019 and October 22, 2019 will bring stability, but the conjunction of Saturn and Ketu in the same house, between March 3, 2019 and January 24, 2020 will result in heightened volatility.
"One may feel that the market has bottomed out, prompting investors to pump in money, but stocks will fall again. It will be a year of repeated correction," warns Joshi, "There will be alternative phases of correction and stabilization."
Hasty investment in the second fortnight of November will lead to an inability in offloading investments in the near future, he warns. He also advises restraint in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal.
In the period between January 31 and February 20, benchmark indices will witness a 'W' pattern. "It will be difficult to determine when to enter and when to exit stocks," says Joshi. "Political uncertainties in the middle of 2019 will result in volatile markets and won't allow them to settle. From then onwards till the end of the Samvat, the market will be range-bound with a bias towards correction."
Joshi warns that a 2008-like situation is likely to reappear from January 5, 2020 to January 18, 2020. "It may not result in circuits, but it will be a sustained period of a bearish trend. The drop may not come on any particular date, there will be a significant drop over a certain period," he says.
