Vodafone, Flipkart join hands to sell Rs 999 4G smartphones: Deal details

To counter the popularity of Reliance JioPhone, Vodafone has now join hands with Flipkart to sell 4G smartphone under Rs 999. 

Vodafone on Wednesday announced its partnership with Flipkart. Earlier, Vodafone had entered in a deal with Micromax and Itel mobile to launch affordable smartphones.

These smartphones have been launched under the Flipkart's #MyFirst4GSmartphone campaign. The offer is open for both new and existing Vodafone customers. 

Vodafone will also provide cash back offers on the select range of smartphone models available under the offer.

Customers who are willing to buy the phone will have to recharge their number with a minimum amount of Rs 150 for 36 months consecutively.

Customers will get a cash back of Rs 900 at the end of 18 months. It is Rs 1,100 after another 18 months, thus availing a total cashback of Rs 2000. 

The cash back then will be credited to user's Vodafone M-Pesa wallets. 

As mentioned above, Vodafone earlier had a deal with itel, the offers provides a cashback of Rs. 2,100 to a customer buying itel A20 bringing its effective price down from Rs 3,690 to just Rs 1,590.

How to avail the cashback offer? 

To avail this exclusive offer, itel and Vodafone customers will have to buy the Itel A20 smartphone priced at Rs 3,690 and recharge with Rs 150 or more in a calendar month for 18 months. The recharge can be done either cumulatively or as a one-time recharge.  At the end of 18 months, customers will receive a cashback of Rs 900. Upon continuing to recharge Rs. 150 per month, customers can enjoy an additional cashback of Rs 1,200 after another 18 months.

Until when can the offer be availed? 

The bundled offer can be availed up to March 31, 2018. Users will receive the cashback in their M-Pesa wallets, allowing them to recharge, pay bills, transfer money or withdraw cash, according to their convenience.
