Financial services firm Essel Finance has appointed Viral Berawala as chief investment officer (CIO) for the firm’s newest division, Essel Mutual Fund (EMF). With around two decades of experience in major financial and information technology (IT) companies like Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company, Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management and Tata Consultancy Services, Berawala will now take charge to further strengthen the investment team of EMF.
