United Spirits Ltd, the world's third largest spirits maker by volume, plans to acquire at least two distillation units this fiscal.
"We are on track to acquire more distillation units so that we can increase our self reliance... we hope to be able to make two acquisitions in this financial year itself," Vijay Rekhi, managing director, told television channel ET Now on Thursday.
In September, the firm bought 54.7% in Pioneer Distilleries at Rs101 a share.
United Spirits is part of billionaire Vijay Mallya's UB Group.
