Asia's largest airport to be built in Jewar
Asia's biggest airport will be built in Jewar, Gautam Budh Nagar district Uttar Pradesh. It will be built by the Swiss company Zurich International Airport Limited AG. Chief Executive Officer of Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) signed the agreement with Zurich International Airport Limited AG on Wednesday.
Millions of people will benefit from Film City and Toy City
Apart from this, Film City and Toy City are also to be built in the district Gautam Budh Nagar. Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) Chief Executive Officer Dr Arunvir Singh said that the Jewar Airport in Gautam Budh Nagar is going to be built and the Film City. Apart from this, there are also plans to come up with Toy City. This will benefit the district Gautam Buddha as well as the entire National Capital Region. The whole of western Uttar Pradesh will benefit from the airport.
Currently, people of western Uttar Pradesh go all the way to IGI Airport Delhi to catch a flight. It is very troublesome and also expensive. Arunvir Singh said that NOIDA Authority would also build a metro coach construction factory, apparel park, handicraft park, MSME park, and a medical device park in the district. Hundreds of domestic and foreign companies have allotted land in the Yamuna Authority area.
Multi-modal connectivity will make it easier to travel from Delhi to Jewar
Multi-model connectivity will be developed from Jewar to Delhi and other cities. Work is underway on several options, including metro, ultra PRT, elevated road, rapid rail. NIAL CEO, Dr. Arunvir Singh, informed that there would be an investment of about Rs 5 lakh crore by the airport coming to Jewar. Maintenance work of Indian aircraft will also be done hereafter developing the (Maintenance, Repairing, and Overhauling of aircraft) hub. Air cargo and warehousing hubs will also come up in the area. These schemes will provide employment and generate business of thousands of crores in the western Uttar Pradesh.
