TataCLiQ has broadened its leadership team by hiring a chief technology officer, a chief brand marketing and institutional sales officer, and a chief financial officer ahead of the completion of its first year of operations.

According to a statement by TataCLiQ, Sauvik Banerjjee who was the Chief of Technology for SAP Global's omni-channel and digital vertical and was responsible for developing the architecture of TataCLiQ and Reliance Jio, has joined Tata Industries as the Vice President - Digital Initiatives and Chief Technology Officer of Tata CLiQ.
Banerjjee has built two start-ups and is on the board of advisors for several companies and start-ups, the statement said.
Kishore Mardikar has been appointed as the chief - brand marketing and institutional sales. At TataCLiQ, the statement said, he would spearhead the marketing and customer retention initiatives and will also build the institutional sales set up. "Kishore brings with him experience in the areas of Marketing, Sales and Operations across sectors such as Telecom, Hospitality, and Airlines.
He started his career with Tata Technologies and held key positions at Tata Teleservices Ltd. and Roots Corporation Ltd (Ginger). Prior to joining TataCLiQ.com, he was the Vice President, Marketing at TATA SIA Airlines Limited (Vistara) where he played key role in the launch of Vistara brand and built the Frequent Flyer program – Club Vistara.
Meanwhile, Behram Sabawala, a chartered accountant, has been appointed as its chief financial officer. He joined the Tata Group in January 2002 as Chief – Corporate Finance at Tata International Ltd. He then moved within the Tata Group to Voltas Ltd., where he was senior general manager finance and CFO – Products.
The leadership team of TataCLiQ.com also includes Vikas Purohit, who is the Chief Operating Officer and Reuben Pandian, Head- Omni Channel, the statement said.
Commenting on the new additions to the leadership team, TataCLiQ's CEO said Ashutosh Pandey said, “We are pleased to have Sauvik, Kishore, and Behram on board with us at an exciting stage of our journey.
