Daimler would aim at tapping the growth potential of the Indian passenger and commercial vehicle markets on its own.
Relations with the Indian partner continue to be excellent, although the Pune plant that manufactured Mercedes cars will see Tata Motors’ multi-utility vehicle Land Rovers’ rolling out by next year.
