Wind turbine maker Suzlon Group on Monday said it has bagged 197.40 megawatts (MW) repeat order from an Independent Power Producers (IPP) company in Andhra Pradesh.

"Suzlon Group has signed a binding term sheet and received advance payment for execution of 197.40 MW with one of the leading Independent Power Producers (IPP)," Suzlon Energy said in a BSE filing.

It further said,"Suzlon will supply, instal and commission of 47 wind turbines of the S97-120 m hybrid tower and 47 wind turbines of the S111-90 m tubular tower with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. Project to be executed in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh by February 2017."

Suzlon Energy Chief Sales Officer Ishwar Mangal said, "The repeat order reaffirms customer faith in our product portfolio, execution and service capabilities... with our strong customer base, next generation technology products, end-to-end solutions and best-in-class services, Suzlon is best equipped to capitalise on the growing opportunities in India."

At 1211 hours, the shares of Suzlon Energy were trading down 0.92% or Rs 0.20 at Rs 21.45 per scrip intraday on the BSE.
