Speaking at the exchange4media Conclave 2015 on Thursday evening, Dr Chandra emphasised that the key line to focus upon is, to let humans do what they are best at and to let technology do what it is best at.

"At no given point in time should one turn a slave to technology and definitely not stop applying the creative mind, which is certainly far more superior than any technological advancement since at the end of the day even technology is human made," he said.

While technology can deliver data points, a human mind has the power to connect the dots between the data points, add judgement, frame questions, seek answers and eventually arrive at the right outcome. "The balance is subtle yet absolutely crucial," he said.

Highlighting the role of technology in giving a boost to entrepreneurial and start-up culture in the country, Dr Chandra said that youngsters these days are making the best use of the digital medium and leveraging extensively on technology for their respective ventures.

"Our nation needs more job creators than job seekers, and young entrepreneurs of today's era are rightly doing so by utilising technology to the fullest," he said.
