Silver prices surged by Rs500 to Rs45,300 per kg today, while gold rose by Rs90 to Rs20,820 per 10 grams on fresh buying by stockists and jewellery makers, amid firm trends in Asian regions.
Silver prices surged by Rs500 to Rs45,300 per kg today, while gold rose by Rs90 to Rs20,820 per 10 grams on fresh buying by stockists and jewellery makers, amid firm trends in Asian regions.
Silver ready surged by Rs500 to Rs45,300 per kg and weekly-based delivery by Rs300 to Rs44,630 per kg on increased offtake by industrial units and coin manufacturers.
Gold gained 0.5% in Singapore to $1,382.38 an ounce and silver by 0.2% to $29.22 an ounce.
On the domestic front, gold of 99.9 and 99.5% purity shot up by Rs90 each to Rs20,820 and Rs20,700 per 10 grams, respectively.
Sovereign followed suit and traded higher by Rs50 to Rs16,800 per piece of eight grams.
Silver coins also spurted by Rs500 to Rs49,500 for buying and Rs49,600 for selling of 100 pieces on account of the ongoing marriage season demand.
