Sensex up 124 pts in early trade
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex rose by 124 points in early trade on Wednesday following heavy buying by funds in reality and banking shares.
MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex rose by 124 points in early trade on Wednesday following heavy buying by funds in reality and banking shares.
The 30-share index which shed 73 points on Tuesday, bounced back gaining 124.15 points to 19,653.65 in the first five minutes of trade.
The wide-based National Stock Exchange index, Nifty, also rose by 35.90 points to 5,894.25 points.
