Sensex ends higher by 124.32 pts

MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, ended sharply higher by over 124 points on Thursday on buying by foreign as well as domestic funds in blue-chip stocks, triggered by firming Asian markets.
The BSE 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) closed 124.32 points higher at 10,741.591 points after touching a high of 10,762.67 points earlier in the day.
Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty shot up by 46.00 points at 3,156.15 points. Though, it scaled to intra-day high of 3,167.10 points.
