Reliance Industries' Chairman Mukesh Ambani has finally announced a launch date for Reliance Jio. In the annual shareholders' meeting on Thursday, as was expected, the Reliance Industries' chairman spoke extensively about Jio.
Ambani said that Jio will never charge for voice calls and messages and its data tariff will be the lowest in the world.
In the shareholders' meet, in a departure from the usual few words on Jio, Ambani's speech was filled with superlatives about Reliance Jio, where he made several announcements about the services it will offer, and how it will change the face of India in terms of data and telecom services.
