INDORE: Unidentified people on Wednesday attacked one of the six Reliance Fresh stores at Vijay Nagar area here, police said.

About four-five masked miescreants reached the store at 3.30 PM and pelted stones and smashed glass panes besides damaging other property before fleeing.

Reliance group's cluster manager Sanjeev Arora said the case had been handed over to the police.

No arrests had been made so far.

Reliance had opened six stores amidst protests by 'Swadeshi Jagran Manch' and vegetable and fruits retailers early this month here.

Vegetable and fruit vendors had staged a hunger strike at Malwa Mill area here against the stores yesterday.
