Power producers have sought another meeting with the prime minister on April 18.

Though the Association of Power Producers did not disclose the agenda of the meeting, sources said they are likely to discuss the new royalty structure and issues related to the fuel supply agreements to be signed with Coal India.

However, the prime minister is yet to grant them an audience, said Ashok Khurana, director general of the association.Sources said a meeting with the prime minister after April 18 may be unlikely as he would get busy with Parliament starting April 24.

For the record, the government had ordered Coal India to sign FSAs with power producers after industry chieftains met the prime minister on January 18.
