As per the information, if you are a PF account holder and you have not received interest yet, then your KYC is incomplete. KYC has been made mandatory to get interest on PF account. The EPFO ​​has strictly enforced this rule so that in no case the interest is credited to the wrong account.

Update KYC from home

If you are one of those people who have not done their KYC, then there's no need to worry. You can handle these tasks very easily while sitting at home. Here are the steps to get the KYC done for your PF account online.

- Visit the EPFO ​​portal https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface
- Then click the option of KYC
- In the newly opened window, click on the section with PAN, Aadhaar, mobile number, bank account one by one.
- Carefully fill in the correct information in the appropriate column
- By doing this your PAN and Aadhaar will be linked to the PF account
- Ask your employer to verify
- Online facility will be benefited as soon as the employer is verified

Very important to give correct information

EPFO says that if the wrong bank account number or IFSC is linked with UAN, then in future if you will not be able to withdraw PF. For this, you will have to rectify the wrong information, only then you will be able to withdraw from your PF account.
