In its completion of 10 years, Tata Innovista is all set to deliver a benefit of $1.1 billion annually with the help of its top 60 innovations. It is likely to touch the lives of 35 million people on a global platform in the next five years.

Tata Innovista, a group wide-programme saw over 2700 projects coming from around 75 Tata companies which are spread across 18 countries.

“It bears testimony to this growing culture, and greatly enthuses us at the Tata Group Forum to further strengthen our efforts to encourage and celebrate the spirit of innovation in the Tata Group,” said, S. Padmanabhan, Executive Chairman, Tata Quality Management Services, Tata Sons.

Compared to 101 entries in 2006 this year Tata Innovista received 1580 projects under the category Promising Innovations.

Jaguar Land Rover and Metahelix Life Sciences bagged the award under the new products category.

Tata Consultancy Services won six awards under categories- New Services, Core Processes, Support Processes, Services Enabling Customer and Social.

Titan Company wins the design honour for 'Zyra'.

“As we look ahead, the focus on technology and innovation will continue to play a key role in helping us achieve our global ambitions,” said, Dr. Mukund Rajan, Member- Group Executive Council and Brand Custodian, Tata Sons.

The projects at the regional rounds were held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jamshedpur, London, Washington DC and Singapore. It was judged by eminent external experts.

Tata Innovista was started in 2006 by the Tata Group to encourage, recognise and showcase the outstanding innovations done by Tata companies.
