The new service has been rolled out on 17 of the most popular routes in Mumbai, including Kharghar to Nariman Point, Borivilli National Park to Bandra, Thane to Ghansoli, and so on. The ride rates will start from Rs 30 onwards.

The Bengaluru-based firm which is lead by Bhavish Aggarwal, has a yearly revenue of $62 million. The new facility will be free from peak hour pricing.

"This means you experience quicker Share rides on the most popular routes across your city, without going out of the way to pick-up co-passengers," the company's blog about the new service said.
