Air passengers will be barred from taking pictures or selfies in the aircraft, according to Directorate General of Civil Aviation's (DCGA) latest air safety circular, reports The Times of India.

The circular, issued on August 29, commands airlines to ensure that "passengers do not indulge into photography while embarking/ disembarking from aircraft." 

Furthermore, passengers will not be able to request the flight crew for selfies in the cockpit. In fact, photography inside the cockpit has been prohibited in all phases of flight, even for the flight crew.
