Naresh Agarwal told ANI, "After reflecting on the Economic Survey presented yesterday we are not expecting much from the maiden Union budget to be presented today. People were shown dreams of better future. They were promised relaxation in income tax, unemployment will be curbed and physical deficit will also be decreased."

"The way Railway Budget has come up I feel that the budget will exist only to serve few industrialists. The government is not ready to relax the interests extracted from poor farmers. In such situation common people should not expect anything better from this government," he added.

The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is all set to present the maiden Union Budget of the Narendra Modi government on Thursday.
