Nestle approaches the Bombay High Court against FSSAI's Maggi ban
Earlier this month, Nestle's global CEO assured that Maggi is safe for consumption and the company doesn't add any MSG into it.
Nestle India has approached the Bombay High Court against food safety regulator FSSAI's ban of Maggi noodles.
The company has voluntarily withdrawn Maggi noodles from retail stores and has said that it will cooperate with relevant authorities to get clearances for the noodles brand.
Nestle has been selling Maggi in India for over three decades.
Earlier this month, Nestle's global CEO assured that Maggi is safe for consumption and the company doesn't add any MSG into it.
Following Uttar Pradesh's Food and Drug Administration department's revelation, many states tested Maggi samples.
The snack has been banned in many states and FSSAI has now widened its testing to other noodles brands and companies.
