This figure commands a significant portion of the global refined oil export market, amounting to a substantial 8.4% share. This data highlights India's substantial contribution to the international trade of refined petroleum oils, reaffirming its stature as a major player in this vital sector of the global economy, as per the statistics available from the World's Top Exports.

In addition, India is home to the world's largest oil refinery, the Jamnagar Refinery, which is owned by Reliance Industries and proudly holds the title of the largest oil processing facility globally, with a remarkable daily capacity of 1.24 million barrels.
