According to Minister of State (IC) for Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy, Piyush Goyal, this online Wind Atlas is available on the NIWE website.

These wind and solar maps are expected to help developers of these technologies identify potential areas of development of new projects. Moreover, it will also help the central and state stakeholders develop infrastructure like transmission systems that are essential for the installation of renewable power projects in the picked areas.
