A memorandum of settlement has been signed between the management of country’s leading automobile company Tata Motors and Telco Workers Union (TWU) in connection with grade revision of its workers. The settlement will be valid for three years from 1st April, 2013 to 31st March, 2016.

As per the settlement, the employees (worker grade) will be benefited minimum Rs. 7530/- and maximum Rs.9052/- including direct and indirect benefit.

The settlement was signed by the President and General Secretary of TWU, Rajendra Prasad Singh, who is also the Jharkhand Finance Minister, and Chandrabhan Singh respectively on behalf of the wokers while Jamshedpur Plant Head of Tata Motors A B Lall and others signed on behalf of the company.
