The company's exports were up 16% compared to the same period last year.
Mahindra & Mahindra sold 39,458 units in July, up 14% from the 34,652 units sold in the same period last year.
In the domestic market, out of the total sales, it sold 35,305 units, up from the 31,087 units sold in July last year, up 14%.
M&M exported 4,153 units, 16% more than the 3,565 units sent overseas last July.
In the passenger vehicles segment, M&M sold 17356 units, up 20% compared to the 14456 units sold in the same period last year.
The Utility Vehicles segment grew 21%, cars and vans grew 11%, and commercial vehicles segment grew 8%.
According to the company's notification to the BSE, Mahindra & Mahindra registered growth across segments except the LCV segment with vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, where its sales fell 8% to 556 units in July compared to 604 units.
Commenting on the sames, President & Chief Executive (Automotive) at M&M said, "The advent of a good monsoon so far, has brought in positive sentiment for the economy and that is somewhat reflected in our performance.
"Our growth is being driven by the various product launches of the last financial year, which have been in sync with customers' requirements. With a strong performance in our HCV business as well as our exports, we are hopeful of a positive outlook during the rest of the financial year."
