Medium sugar prices firm up on fresh demand
Medium sugar(M-30) gained by Rs5/14 per quintal to Rs2,760/2,891 from overnight closing level of Rs2,746/2,886. Small sugar(S-30) were quoted at Rs2,740/2,765 per quintal as against Rs2,731/2,800 yesterday.
Medium sugar prices firmed up at the Vashi wholesale market here today on fresh buying from retailers and stockists. Meanwhile, small sugar variety displayed a mixed pattern of trading due to alternate bouts of buying and selling. Medium sugar(M-30) gained by Rs5/14 per quintal to Rs2,760/2,891 from overnight closing level of Rs2,746/2,886. Small sugar(S-30) were quoted at Rs2,740/2,765 per quintal as against Rs2,731/2,800 yesterday.
