In July 2015, the domestic carmaker sold 121,712 units.
The carmaker's domestic sales were at 125,778, up 19.9% from the 110,405 units that were sold in India in the same period last year.
"This is the Company's highest ever sales in a month in the domestic market," Maruti Suzuki said in a notification to the BSE.
Maruti's exports, however, grew only marginally from 11,307 to 11,338.

Maruti's sales driven by Alto and WagonR, which have been best-sellers for a long time, declined 7.2% in the month, while its sales from the 'Compact' category which accounts for Swift, Ritz, Celerio, Baleno and Dzire, grew 4.1% to 50,362 units.
Maruti Suzuki ventured into a new category in the month -- Light Commercial Vehicles -- with the launch of the 'Super Carry'. In the first month since launch, it sold 14 units.
The company's shares were up nearly 3% at Rs 4,878.15, up Rs 122.95 on the BSE.
