JMC Projects (India), an arm of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd, has bagged orders worth over Rs 930 crore, including a road EPC project in Ethiopia.

At the news, at 1331 hours, the company's shares were up 6.93% at Rs 216 per piece from previous day's close. 

A leading civil engineering and EPC company, JMC said in a BSE filing that it "has recently secured new orders worth over Rs 930 crore".

The orders include a road EPC project in Ethiopia worth approximately Rs 465 crore; a retail mall project in Bangalore of Mantri Developers worth Rs 235 crore; area infrastructure development project by Naya Raipur Development Authority worth Rs 169 crore and building a project in Bangalore worth approximately Rs 62 crore, the filing said.

JMC Deputy Managing Director & CEO S K Tripathi said: "We have penetrated in our existing international market by securing repeat road EPC project in Ethiopia, now we are looking for new geographies under the infrastructure segment."
