India IT spend to reach $15 bn as more companies adopting cloud

Amid high GDP growth rates, more Indian companies are expected to increase their IT spending this year, particularly in applications and digital initiatives, said a Gartner report

10% – jump seen in end-user information technology spending in 2019

$6 bn – IT spending in managed services and cloud infrastructure services segments

$1.9 bn – 14% growth seen in business process outsourcing sector

40% – of customer management BPO workforce to come from crowdsourcing, WAH, and gig economy

9 lakh – people will account for customer management BPO workforce by 2021
