Mallya played the victim card, saying that the CBI was guilty of selectively releasing e-mails to the media.

The tweets came after a court issued a non-bailable warrant against Mallya on Thursday in the IDBI Bank loan default case.

Earlier, details from CBI had emerged which indicated that special favours were done to provide credit to Kingfisher Airlines even though the company's rating was questionable.

"Special judge for CBI cases H S Mahajan issued the NBW after the agency's affidavit provided Mallya's precise address in the UK," a PTI report said.

On Thursday, days after markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) barred Mallya from holding chairman or directorship position in any listed companies in the country, it also asked brokers to square off all existing open positions in the equity derivatives segment held for him and six other United Spirits officials.
