Talking about the crucial Goods & Services tax which is in the Parliament for clearance, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Wednesday that hopefully GST will be implemented in the coming year.

The Narendra Modi-led government has set a target for GST to be rolled out on April 1, 2016, a move that will unify taxation in the country. However, the furore in the Parliament over various issues like the CBI raid alleged in New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's office has been stalling fruitful discussions. 

Jaitley said that India has witnessed less than normal monsoon for two years in a row. He said, "India has right to grow faster, achieve full potential.

"Nobody has right to stop, halt or slow down the process," he said.
