Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) expanded its entry-level bike range by launching a 110cc bike Livo priced at Rs 55,489 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Currently, the company sells three Dream series motorcycles in the 110cc segment, including Dream Yuga.

This is already the ninth product the company has launched this year, and will deliver on the promise of 15 new products in India this year, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India President and CEO, Keita Muramatsu said. 

"Livo is developed keeping in mind the very start of motorcycling -- that's the 100-110cc displacement segment -- which is often the first bike of majority of people in India," HMSI Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, Y S Guleria said.

Powered by a four-stroke engine, Honda claims that the Livo has a mileage of 74kpl.

The bike is available in two variants: Self drum alloy, priced at Rs 52,989 and self disc alloy, priced at Rs 55, 489 (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

The Livo is available in four colours. 

HMSI' s market share in the 100-110cc segment stands at around 6%. The company's market share in the overall bike segment stands at 14%. However, it leads the scooter segment where the its market share stands at around 59%.

The company has stopped manufacturing its CB Twister model, Guleria said.
