A students from IIT Kharagpur tried to sell himself on Flipkart in search of a job.
In an innovative move to apply for a job at Flipkart an IIT Kharagpur student tried to sell himself on the e-commerce website. The student posted a profile of himself on the website, listing Rs 27,60,200 and with the option of free delivery
Aakash Neeraj Mittal applied for the post of a product manager vacancy at Flipkart had posted himself on the website listing attributes such as 'artistic by heart', 'entrepreneurial mindset' and 'intellectually curious'.
According to Harsh Bajaj, a junior studying in the same institute said on Quora after pointing out Mittal's CV on Flipkart that when you are a 6-pointer and competing with the best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job. He added that you start some crazy and random stuff to stand out from the crowd.
However, despite the creative attempt of Mittal, he did not receive any interview call from the company.
