Gold rate today September 21: Bullion rates lowest in nearly 6 months - Check city-wise rate

Gold lovers will be happy to know that gold prices are showing a decline for the second consecutive day. However, silver prices are seeing a boom today. There is a continuous decline in the prices of gold and silver due to weak global cues. On MCX, gold price fell by 0.16 per cent today. Let us tell you today's price.

Gold is down by 0.16% on MCX, is available at Rs 46,205 per 10 grams. Whereas the price od silver has increased by 0.1%, available at Rs 59,615 per kg.

New Silver Price (Silver Price on 20th September 2021)

On MCX, silver December futures also slipped by Rs 565 (1 per cent) i.e., Rs 59,427 per kg. Talking about the international market, the price of silver fell by 0.3%, $ 22.33 an ounce. 

What do experts say?

As per experts, gold prices may fall further in the coming days. Gold rates in the domestic market are close to the lowest of 6 months. In August last year, gold had set a record-high price i.e., Rs 56,200 per 10 gram.

According to Kotak Securities, there may be a change in the position of gold due to the trend in the US dollar and equity markets. Also, Investors are analysing Fed’s monetary policy and the economic situation in China. 

Saw decline last week 

Notably, there was a big fall in the prices of gold in the bullion market on Friday last week. Gold of 99.9 % had fallen by Rs 1,130 (to Rs 45,207 per 10 grams), in Delhi's bullion market.
