In Delhi, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is being sold for Rs 49,800 and in Mumbai for Rs 46,330. Gold is being sold in Chennai this morning at Rs 47,720. The price of gold in Kolkata is Rs 48,250.

According to experts, gold prices may fall further in the coming days. The price of gold in the domestic market is close to the low level of 6 months. In August last year, gold had set a record high of Rs 56,200 per 10 grams.
