Continuing its upward trend, gold price went up by Rs 1,000 per 100 gram on Thursday (April 8). Gold price has remained quite volatile in the last two-three months with the price peaking February and then registering a fall in March. In April, the gold price has again started to increase.

For 22-carat gold, you will need to pay Rs 44,300 for 10 gram and Rs 4,43,00 for 100 gram. If you are purchasing 24-carat gold, then you will need to spend Rs 45,300 per 10 gram and Rs 4,53,000 per 100 gram.

It is to be noted that gold price varies in different cities and states across India due to taxes and other factors. 22-carat gold price today in Mumbai is Rs 44,300. In Delhi, the price is Rs 44,800. In Bengaluru, the gold price is Rs 42,650 per 10 gram, while in Chennai, the Gold price today is Rs 42,970. In Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, 22-carat Gold price is Rs 44,800 per 10 gram.

In Mumbai, 24-carat gold price today is Rs 45,300. In Delhi, the price is Rs 48,870, while in Bengaluru, the 24-carat gold price today is Rs 46,530. In Chennai, the 24-carat Gold price today is Rs 46,890 and in Lucknow, 24-carat Gold price per 10 gram is Rs 48,870.
